Operating Range

Operating Range: The selected duty point is checked against the applicable fan performance curve to maintain stable continuous operation.

Duty Point Selection: Fan selection is based on required airflow, system pressure loss, operating temperature, and applicable design margins.

Boiler Capacity & Combustion Air

Boiler Capacity: FD fans can be selected for industrial boiler systems from approximately 0.5 t/h upward, subject to required airflow and pressure.

Fuel Types: Natural gas, heavy fuel oil, pulverized coal, biomass fuels such as wood chips, rice husk, and bagasse, and other applicable boiler fuels.

Combustion Air Calculation: Required airflow is determined from fuel type, boiler capacity, excess-air requirements, burner specifications, and furnace conditions.

System Pressure Loss: Fan selection accounts for pressure losses across air preheaters, louvers, silencers, air registers, ductwork, and burner windboxes.

Impeller Design & Airflow Performance

Fan Series & Blade Design: G4-73, G5-51, G6-41, and 9-19 series are available for different airflow and pressure requirements, subject to the selected fan configuration.

Impeller Material: Q235B carbon steel is standard, with Q355B available for selected high-speed or heavy-duty configurations.

Wheel Diameters: Nominal diameters range from 300 mm to over 2,000 mm according to airflow and pressure requirements.

Supply Information

Standard Supply: The standard package includes the FD fan assembly and motor. Coupling, base frame, dampers, VFD, switchgear, vibration monitoring, and other accessories can be supplied according to project requirements.

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): 1 set.

Lead Time: Typically 25–40 calendar days after technical specifications, drawings, and commercial terms are confirmed.

Export Packaging: Main fan casing rust-protected and wrapped in protective film; motors, bearings, dampers, and loose hardware packed in ISPM 15-compliant, heat-treated export plywood crates.

Shipping Support: FOB, CIF, and CFR shipping terms are available, with container loading planning provided for applicable orders.

FAQ

Q: What technical information is needed for an accurate quotation?

A: Please provide required airflow, static or total pressure, inlet air temperature, boiler capacity, fuel type, site altitude, voltage/frequency, drive arrangement, and any damper, VFD, motor-brand, or corrosion-protection requirements.

Q: Can you verify FD fan compatibility with our existing boiler and duct system?

A: Yes. We can review the required airflow and pressure, duct layout, air-preheater resistance, burner windbox data, and other available system information to verify the proposed fan duty point.

Q: What after-sales support is available after installation?

A: Remote technical support is available for installation, commissioning, vibration checks, bearing issues, and routine maintenance through technical documents, photos, or video calls.

Q: What warranty applies to the fan and motor?

A: Warranty terms are defined in the sales contract. Fan components and motors may be covered under separate warranty terms depending on the manufacturer and supply scope.

Q: Can you supply ABB, Siemens, WEG, or other specified motor brands?

A: Yes. ABB, Siemens, WEG, and other motor brands can be specified subject to availability, cost, and lead time. Please confirm the preferred brand during quotation.

Q: For 6 kV/10 kV units, are switchgear and starter panels included?

A: The standard supply includes the fan and motor. Switchgear, starter panels, and VFD panels are optional or can be sourced by the buyer's electrical contractor.

Q: Are spare parts available for long-term boiler maintenance?

A: Yes. Bearings, couplings, and other recommended spare parts can be supplied with the initial order or provided separately according to the fan configuration.
